PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably supply steam by preventing generation of hunting in a boiler multi-can installation system in which the number of boilers is controlled. SOLUTION: In this boiler multi-can installation system in which the plurality of boilers 1 are installed, the steam generated by the plurality of boilers 1 is once collected in a steam collecting section 5, and supplied to a steam needing section, and a number control device 2 is disposed to output combustion commands to each of the boilers on the basis of a steam pressure value detected by a pressure detecting device 4 disposed in the steam collecting section 5, the number control device 2 detects a time Tn of number control one cycle, for example, a time from a state that combustion of the boilers as number control objects is stopped in all of cans, to a state that the combustion is performed in all of cans of the boilers as the number control objects, and the combustion is stopped in all of cans again, and performs the control to reduce the number of boilers as the number control objects, when the time Tn is shorter than a predetermined reference time.
