PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid detergent composition which contains a highly-concentrated surfactant, is excellent in storage stability, and does not lower solubility by gelation formation during being diluted by water or the like. SOLUTION: The liquid detergent composition includes (A) a surfactant including (a-1) nonionic surfactant and (a-2) anion surfactant, (B) specific nonionic compound having a glycerine or a residue derived from 5C-6C reducing sugar, and (C) water. The content of (a-1) in (A) is 50 mass% or more, the mass ratio of (a-1) to (a-2) is (a-1)/(a-2)=50/50 to 99/1, and the mass ratio of (a-1) to (B) is (a-1)/(B)=50/50 to 99/1.
