<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem, wherein a charging operation to a secondary battery cannot be controlled properly according to an operation mode of a digital camera, or the like, because there is restriction in the current value being supplied from an external host via a USB cable. <P>SOLUTION: Charging to a battery 24 is stopped to perform PictBridge operation by battery driving when it is identified that both a host 30 and cameras 2 to 26 which are compatible with PictBridge by negotiation, even when chargeable bus power can be acquired via a USB cable 35. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
