METHOD FOR WELDING TUBE TO CIRCUMFERENTIAL CURVED SURFACE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a welding technology which enables back-bead one-pass welding without requiring any beveling angle in the fillet welding to a circumferential surface of an end of a tube. SOLUTION: A tube welding method includes: a step of working a circumferential surface part of a drum or the like forming a welding part to an end of a tube to be welded in a horizontal surface; a step of executing the temporary welding after the tube with its end being worked at a right angle is butted to a horizontally worked portion of the drum or the like and positioned thereto; a step of applying a deep penetration activator on a surface of the welding part, and a step of executing the back-bead welding of the welding part in one pass by the automatic TIG welding.
