PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bleaching method for improving discoloration prperty of bleached pulp by improving hexenuronic acid-removing ability of inorganic peroxy acid in TCF bleaching using inorganic peroxy acid. SOLUTION: A method for producing the TCF bleached pulp, which subjects unbleached pulp obtained by cooking lignocellulose substances to alkali oxygen bleaching and then to multistage bleaching including a treating stage using inorganic peroxy acid, includes adding one or more compounds selected from the group consisting of lignin, lignin derivatives, 2-methoxyphenol, 3-methoxyphenol, 4-methoxyphenol, 5-amino-methoxyphenol, muconic acid, 2, 5-dimethyl-2, 4-hexadienedioic acid, and their oxides in an amount of at least 0.01 mass% based on the amount of absolutely dry pulp in the treating stage using the inorganic peroxy acid.
