<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tea strainer which permits a filtering material to be changed while wraping used tea leaves for disposal like a tea bag to solve the problems that a variety of tea strainers have been devised because one of the reasons why people have ceased to drink tea by using a teapot or the like is troublesomeness in disposing the used tea leaves but it is still necessary to dispose the used tea leaves in a loose state, sinks are stained, and the user is required to wash away the used tea leaves left in the tea strainers while dipping the hands in water in the end because the filtering materials are fastened to the tea strainers. <P>SOLUTION: The filtering material such as a nonwoven fabric is cut into two square sheets, and one is laid over the other. The adjacent two sides each of which lies on top of the other are sealed. When the joining point of the sealed two sides is located at the lowermost point, the sheets turn into a bag shape which fans out. A supporting tool supporting the fan-shaped filtering materials is made of a sheet synthetic resin plate or the like in the fan shape.
