PURPOSE: A system and a method for discovering and tracking communication directions with asymmetric antenna systems are provided to prevent the collision when transmitting combination request commands at different coupling sub-CAPs(Contention Access Periods) by finding an optimal communication direction. CONSTITUTION: A second device receive beacons from a first device(515), and determines at least one index for link quality(520). The second device selects s reception direction of a second device and a transmission direction of a first device(525). The second device transmits a combination request including the selected transmission directions of the first device(530). The first device receives the combination request(535), and the first device transmits a combination response to the second device(545).
