PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aroma candle which is good in the durability of an aroma component and which exhales the aroma component after the lapse of a definite time from the ignition on the candle to thereby allow it to give peace of minds, that is, to exhibit the aroma therapy effect, and besides which causes no reduction in the exhalation amount of the aroma component after the ignition even when left for a long period; and a manufacturing method for enabling to manufacture the aroma candle. SOLUTION: In the aroma candle 1 in which a wick material 3 is embedded in a wax 2 solid at an ordinary temperature such that a part thereof is projected into the outside, the capsules 6, 7 inside which the perfumes 4, 5 are sealed so as not to volatilize and which are designed to melt at the melting temperature of the wax 2 are embedded in the wax 2.
