PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication system capable of reliably sending data to all clients in wireless multicast communication, and capable of obtaining high transmission efficiency. SOLUTION: A multicast registration table is registered to an operation control section of a transmitting/receiving device A at a transmission side. The operation control section adds an original header 70 to a multicast IP packet 60, and adds an identifier indicating a communication system, an own IP address, and an IP address of communication destinations for sending out, when sending out an IP packet for external networks to a radio line. Transmitting/receiving devices 1-N having received the multicast IP packet 60 read the original header 70 to detect a self IP address, decide a time slot of a response based on the position, and transmits a retransmission request signal indicating the presence or absence of an error to the transmitting/receiving device A. The transmitting/receiving device A receives a response, and then deletes the IP address of communication destinations of the transmitting/receiving device at a reception side, where no errors exist in reception data, from the original header 70 for retransmission.
