PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an audio output apparatus and an audio processing system, which can more delicately control audio data. SOLUTION: The audio output apparatus 100 includes: a reception control unit 311 which receives audio data from a remote terminal 150; earphone units 102, 103 which output the received audio data; cables 108, 109 which connects the earphone units 102, 103 and a cabinet unit 110 including the reception control unit 311; a tension detection unit 303 which detects whether tension of equal to or greater than a predetermined threshold value is applied to the cables 108, 109; a determination unit 305 which determines a control command of the audio data to be instructed to the remote terminal 150 when the tension of equal to or greater than the threshold value is detected; and a transmission control unit 312 which transmits the determined control command to the remote terminal 150.
