<p>The present invention provides an Ethernet topology management method, which includes that: a node with a blocked port in the loop transmits a Topology Find (TF) frame periodically along a workable port. The other nodes of the loop network forward the TF frame in sequence. During the forwarding of the TF frame, each node updates its own topology database according to the information carried in the TF frame, and updates the information carried in the TF frame according to its own node identifier. The present invention also correspondingly provides a loop network node, which includes: a TF frame transmission unit, a TF frame reception unit, a topology database, a node information update unit, a TF frame update unit, and a TF frame forwarding unit. In the present invention a TF frame is forwarded among each node of the loop network, so that it can be fast and convenient to find the information of node location, topology status, route reachable or not etc. in the whole network, thus enabling the convenience of the maintenance and management of the loop network operation.</p> |
