<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input device by which sufficient output can be obtained in the vertical direction, and the adjustment of sensitivity in the vertical direction is carried out independently, and furthermore, the cost can be reduced. SOLUTION: The input device is composed of an electrical insulating deformable sensor base 1, final control element 2 connected to the central section of the sensor base 1, a first resistance layer 3 disposed on one face side of the sensor base 1, a second resistance layer 8 disposed on the opposite face side of the sensor base 1, and a detecting circuit which electrically detects the change in the resistance of the first resistance layer 3 and the second resistance layer 8 caused by deformation of the sensor base 1 generated by applying forces on the final control element 2 in the horizontal direction and in the vertical direction, so that the force acting on the operational 2 in the horizontal direction is detected by the first resistance layer 3, and the force on the final control element 2 in the vertical direction is detected by the first resistance layer 3 and the second resistance layer 8.</p> |
