The method involves providing local receiving stations (10-30) for receiving data message from transmitters (1-9) and forming quality information by the receiving stations, where the quality information represents receiving quality. Information identifying the transmitters is transmitted to one of the receiving stations together with the quality information. The data message received from the transmitters is selected by the receiving stations for processing such that the quality information of the receiving stations corresponds to preset criteria. An independent claim is also included for an arrangement for processing measuring data.
