The present invention relates to a music record enabling variation, and to a player and to a method for same. Conventional music records reproduce music as recorded. The present invention proposes a music record enabling variation, as well as a player, wherein a user can select a specific part of the record and replace the sound recorded on the record with the sound played by the user. For this purpose, the present invention provides a music record in which music is recorded by the unit of each musical instrument and stored in different channels, the sounds of each musical instrument (e.g., the sounds of six open strings in the case of a guitar) are stored separately, and music score data is stored separately for each musical instrument. The present invention also provides a player enabling variation, having an operating unit for receiving signals for playing a musical instrument with a variation, and which can read and reproduce said music record, and which mutes the sound of a specific musical instrument part recorded on the music record, modulates the current tune of the specific musical instrument part set on the music score data and the sound corresponding to the specific musical instrument part from among the sounds played by musical instruments in accordance with a modulation signal output from the operating unit, mixes the modulated sound with the sound played by reproducing another channel of the music record, and outputs the mixed sound. The present invention enables the user to participate in one part of the music being reproduced from the music record, and enables multiple users to play respective parts to play a variation in accordance with the sense of music thereof. |
