CNT POWDER COATED METAL NANO PARTICLES AND MANUFACTURING METHOD OF THEREOF

PURPOSE: A method for preparing CNT powder coated with metal nanoparticles is provided to ensure high dispersibility and bondability by applying metal to the surface of a carbon nanotube with affinity and density similar to metal used for a carbon nanotube/metal complex. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing CNT powder coated with metal nanoparticles comprises the steps of: treating a carbon nanotube with a strong acid; mixing the carbon nanotube treated with a strong acid with metal acetylacetonate solution; filtering the carbon nanotube/metal acetylacetonate mixture and drying it to obtain carbon nanotube/metal acetylacetonate powder; and heating the carbon nanotube/metal acetylacetonate powder in a reactor of a non-oxidizing atmosphere, decomposing the metal acetylacetonate, and coating the surface of the carbon nanotube with the metal nanoparticles.
