<p>In an unbalance torque compensating device, control of urging force for compensation is not particularly required, and a space for rotating a balance weight is not required. An index table in which a rotating shaft 3 that supports a table 2 and that extends in a direction intersecting a vertical direction is index driven is provided. The index table includes a rotating member 6 that is secured to the rotating shaft 3 or that is supported by a second shaft 4 differing from the rotating shaft 3, the rotating member 6 rotating by an amount that is the same as that of the rotating shaft 3; a supporting member 7 provided so as to be capable of reciprocating in a direction intersecting a center of axis of the rotating member 6; and an urging member 80 for the supporting member 7, wherein the rotating member 6 has an engaging portion 6a that engages the supporting member 7 at a bias position separated from the center of axis, wherein the supporting member 7 has an engagement surface 7a that receives, through the engaging portion 6a, a first rotary torque T1 applied to the rotating shaft 3, and wherein the urging member 80 causes a second rotary torque T2 in a direction opposite to the first rotary torque T1 to be generated at the rotating shaft 3 through the engaging portion 6a.</p> |
