RESISTIVE FILM TOUCH PANEL WITH PRESSING DETECTION FUNCTION

Disclosed is an inexpensive, resistive film touch panel with excellent visibility and a pressing detection function that not only detects the position of pressing on the screen (x, y coordinates) but simultaneously detects the pressure in the z axis. In the resistive film transparent touch panel, a first member and a second member are bonded to a transparent adhesive layer with a large number of uniformly distributed through-holes in between a first and a second transparent conductive film. The touch panel is also provided with conductive, pressure sensitive ink sections, the electrical properties of which change according to the pressing force applied. These are positioned inside each of the through-holes and formed on the face opposing either the aforementioned first and/or second member.
