The composite glazing (10) for motor vehicle, comprises a glass plate (12) and a plastic plate (14) separated from the glass plate, where between the glass plate and the plastic plate, a polyvinyl butyral resin layer (20) is provided. The glass plate and the plastic plate are connected together over the resin layer, which is pre-treated for improving its acoustic damping characteristics. The resin layer has number of layers. The plastic plate is formed as polycarbonate plate. A thickness of the resin layer is smaller than the thickness of the plastic plate and/or the glass plate.
