PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for improving the phase noise of a phase locked loop are provided to optimize the phase noise by correcting the errors between the phases of a reference frequency and an output frequency. CONSTITUTION: A phase locked loop detects the phase of a reference frequency(S402). The voltage of the detected phase is controlled. The high frequency component of a current according to the detected phase is eliminated. The current is converted into the voltage in order to divides the frequency(S404). The phase difference between the reference frequency and the variously divided frequency is detected(S406). The phase difference is minimized. An output frequency is outputted(S408). |
