Corner profile for façades of buildings

The profile (1) has a mounting region (3), over which the profile is mounted at a corner area of a building. An outwardly directed central bar is formed one-piece at the mounting region, and holding sections (8) laterally project from the central bar in a distance to the mounting region. Flexible tongues (13a, 13b) are provided at the respective holding sections, and extend outwardly in a direction to the holding sections such that a covering element is firmly clamped between the holding sections and the corresponding tongues in a force-fit manner. An independent claim is also included for a connecting element comprising a clamping region.
