PURPOSE: An image signal output method and an image device adopting the same are provided to adjust an image signal with a screen output ration of a display screen of an image device, thereby outputting an image signal which is adjusted to the output screen ratio. CONSTITUTION: An image signal is received from an external input device(S201). A brightness value of pixels consisting the image signal is determined according to each line of the image signal(S203). By using the luminance value determined according to each line, an active region information of the image signal is determined(S204). By using the determined active region information, the image signal is scaled(S205). The scaled image signal is outputted to a display screen(S206). |
