PURPOSE: A data reducing method of service and a terminal of position information system using non specified wireless access points are provided to prevent the waste of the radio resource by the reduction of data amount. CONSTITUTION: In case the data collected from a terminal is similar with the previous data, the collected data is considered as the data collected in the same location. The data transmission is operated after the production of the short packet(404,405). In case the collected data is similar less than a predetermined level, the collected data is considered as the data collected in the changed location. The data transmission is operated after the production of the long packet(403).
