PURPOSE: A cutter for cutting a tape and a tape cutting apparatus for a chip mounter with the same are provided to temporarily store used tapes in a standby space even though used tapes are pushed backward at outer peripheries of cutters, thereby easily cutting used tapes. CONSTITUTION: A cutter(110) for cutting a tape includes a cutter body(111) and grooves(112). The grooves are formed at a fixed interval along with an outer periphery of the cutter body.
