The footwear i.e. half-hose (10) has a tubular part (3) with an edge (2) laid out between another edge (1) and the tubular part. The former edge includes a higher part (A) located on a side of the latter edge, and a lower part (B) located on a side of the tubular part. The former edge includes extensible knit bands in single thickness, where the upper and lower parts of the former edge are knitted such that a free quantity of elastane on a rear side of the lower part is larger than free quantity of elastane on a rear side of the upper part.
