PURPOSE: A surface treating method of an orthodontic screw and an orthodontic screw are provided, which can prevent an implanted screw from being cracked. CONSTITUTION: A surface treating method of an orthodontic screw comprises: a masking step(S102) of masking the front portion of a screw using masking material; a surface treatment step(S104) of treating the surface of the screw in order to increase surface roughness of the implant part of the screw; and a step(S106) of eliminating the masking material. The surface treatment step is performed at the same time in a resorbable blast media mode.
