PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal fuse which detects the temperature change of a temperature detection object without time lag. SOLUTION: The thermal fuse has a metal case of a shape which adheres over a wide range to a temperature detection object of flat shape, a square shape or a polygonal shape, of which in particular, the thermosensitive pellet portion is flat.
