<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an evaporator, capable of reducing labor in maintenance, and an evaporator, capable of reducing labor in installation to existing equipment. <P>SOLUTION: The evaporator 1 evaporates drain water discharged from a hand drier 15 as a body device. The evaporator 1 includes a water receiving container 2 to store the drain water, a transpiration member 4 to absorb and transpire the drain water stored at the bottom of the water receiving container 2, and a blower 3 to blow air to the transpiration member 4.
