The device has a discharge pipe (4) provided for a flotation froth (2) with impurities and an outlet (5) for aqueous fiber suspension (1). A flotation container (3) or parts of the flotation container is/are coupled with a vibrator. The vibrator or vibration elements have a frequency ranging between 10 and 300 hertz, where amplitude of vibration lies between preset values. The vibration elements are formed by a vibration bar (6) passing the fiber suspension. The suspension is floated and introduced into the flotation container over a mixing apparatus (9).
