PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circuit breaker hardly suffering damage due to arc and hot gas and allowing easy replacement of a damaged component. SOLUTION: The gas-blast circuit breaker includes a contact tulip 3a as a first switching member and a contact tulip 3b as a second switching member, and a switching pin 4 as a third switching member for bridging them with each other. The switching pin 4 is moved toward a switching axis 25 to switch between a contact position and a break position. An arc chamber 8 is formed between the contact tulips 3a, 3b and connected to a heating chamber 9 which is encircled by a wall 11 formed of an insulating material. A heat-resistant insulating inner cylinder 12 is arranged inside the wall 11 to cover the inner face of the wall 11.
