TRANSMISSION POWER CONTROL METHOD AND TRANSMITTER

In a system in which the transmission bandwidth is variable, transmission power is controlled in such a manner that minimizes impact on a circuit as much as possible. Provided is a transmission power control method applied to a transmitter that transmits data by using different transmission formats in different transmission occasions, wherein: the transmission power is controlled according to the transmission formats before digital-analogue conversion is applied to data to be transmitted; and, based on the transmission power control, the transmission power is controlled for the data to be transmitted to which the digital-analogue conversion has been applied. Each of the transmission formats is provided to define a frequency bandwidth used for transmission of data to be transmitted.
