<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handrail rod-like material with proper light resistance, having a metal skin layer, a method for working the handrail rod-like material, and a bending work implement for use in the handrail rod-like material. <P>SOLUTION: In the handrail rod-like material 1 composed of a linear handrail, a cylindrical base layer 3 made of a semirigid resin is coated and finished with a surface layer 2 made of a metal thin plate; and a handrail rod can be bent by the bending work implement on a job site. The method for working the handrail rod-like material 1 includes: a step of manufacturing a pipe-like surface layer 2 obtained by bending and welding the metal thin plate; a step of inserting and manufacturing the cylindrical base layer 3, made of the semirigid resin, into the pipe; a finishing step of polishing a surface of the surface layer 2; and a step of performing bending work by means of the bending work implement on the job site. The bending work implement is used for performing the on-site bending work of the handrail rod-like material made of the linear handrail. The bending work implement comprises right and left side rollers which are arranged at a spacing on a base, and a hold-down roller which is arranged on this side in the center of them. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
