<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealed battery with a safety valve, capable of being normally opened in the vicinity of an opening valve pressure established beforehand, without being affected even if a treatment accompanying heating such as welding is carried out. <P>SOLUTION: The safety valve 40 formed at part of a case 20 of the sealed battery includes a thin wall 42 which is formed thinner than the surrounding portion of the safety valve, and a slit 80 which prevents heat conduction from the other portion of the case to the thin wall is formed so as to surround the thin wall. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
