<p>Provided is a data transmission system wherein the number of signal-line data transitions in the data transmission using a parallel bus between devices, such as a memory interface and a liquid crystal interface, is reduced, thereby achieving a power saving and an EMI noise reduction. A data transmitting apparatus (100) uses a signal line of n (= k × m) bits (where k and m are natural numbers equal to or greater than one) to transmit a transport data as encoded. The data transmitting apparatus (100) comprises: a calculating unit (102) that generates a difference data that is a difference between a first data of m-bit unit, which is a transport data, and a second data of m-bit unit, which is a previous transport data; and an encoding unit (103) that encodes the difference data to generate the encoded data of m bits. The encoding unit (103) performs an encoding process to associate the encoded data with the difference data in such a manner that the smaller the absolute value of the difference data is, the fewer the number of bits inverted between the zeros of the difference data and the encoded data associated therewith is.</p> |
