PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illuminator which illuminates a back panel efficiently and exactly by illumination light from an LED element and to provide a vending machine equipped with the illuminator. SOLUTION: The illuminator 3A is arranged between a front panel 7 and the back panel 22, both of which are made of an optically transparent member, and includes an illumination part which illuminates the back panel 22 by a predetermined inclination angle.
