PROXY SYSTEM, COMMUNICATION METHOD, AND COMMUNICATION PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to use a system for securely transmitting file transfer data by simple operation by using a general-purpose mail client without increasing a processing load of a file-transfer data transfer server that securely transmits the file transfer data. SOLUTION: A proxy system includes: a mail receiving section for receiving from a mail server arrival notification mail which presents the fact that file transfer data addressed to the mail client have arrived to the file-transfer data transfer server that securely transmits the file transfer data; a reception determining section for determining whether the arrival notification mail is received; a file-transfer data receiving section for receiving the file transfer data from the file-transfer data transfer server when it is determined that the arrival notification mail has been received; and a file transfer data conversion section for converting the received file transfer data into electronic mail and outputting it to the mail client.
