<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a green photosensitive coloring composition which in a color filter used in a VA (vertical alignment) or IPS (in-plane switching) type liquid crystal display, even with a high colorant concentration, forms a colored layer whose electrical properties do not adversely affect the alignment of a liquid crystal, and enables to ensure satisfactory display performance even when a protective layer is not disposed on the color filter, and to provide a color filter using the composition. <P>SOLUTION: The green photosensitive coloring composition includes at least (a) a transparent resin, (b) a polyfunctional monomer having three or more ethylenically unsaturated double bonds, (c) a colorant, (d) a photopolymerization initiator, and (e) a solvent. The colorant (c) is composed of a green pigment and a yellow pigment, the major green pigment is a halogenated metallophthalocyanine pigment, and the concentration of the green pigment in the total solid content of the photosensitive coloring composition is 30-40 mass%. A coating film formed by curing the photosensitive coloring composition includes a volume resistivity of ≥5×10<SP>14</SP>Ω cm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
