PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vertical antenna having a wide use frequency band. SOLUTION: This antenna 100 includes: a first loop antenna element 11 including a first long-side conductor LP31, a second long-side conductor LP32, a first short-side conductor SP31 and a second short-side conductor SP32; and a second loop antenna element 12 including a third long-side conductor LP41, a fourth long-side conductor LP42, a third short-side conductor SP41 intersecting the first short-side conductor SP31, and a fourth short-side conductor SP42 intersecting the second short-side conductor SP32. When the resonance wavelengths of the loop antenna elements 11, 12 are assumed to be λ, the length of each long-side conductor in the extension direction and that of each short-side conductor are nearly λ/2 and nearly λ/6, respectively. Wide conductors 50 are connected to two ends of each long-side conductor so that the widths of the two ends of each long-side conductor is set larger than the width of the middle part located between the two ends.
