METHOD OF PRODUCING ZEOLITE-CONTAINING HARDENED BODY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively produce a zeolite-containing hardened body having high strength and to effectively utilize fly ash.

SOLUTION: A method of producing the zeolite hardened body includes: a first step of kneading a granular powder of an amorphous material containing silica and alumina with an alkali hydroxide and water to obtain a kneaded material; a second step of standing-still and hardening the kneaded material while keeping the water content and a shape of the kneaded material; and a third step of bringing the kneaded material into direct contact with steam. As the granular powder of the amorphous material containing silica and alumina, fly ash is used.
