A nozzle for an adhesive coater, configured in such a manner that, when forming an adhesive application line on the surface of a continuously running web, the nozzle uniformly applies the adhesive to the surface. A nozzle (12) for an adhesive coater (11), the nozzle (12) being adapted to form at least a single adhesive application line, which extends in the machine direction (MD), on the surface (2a) of a web (2) which continuously runs in the machine direction (MD), the nozzle (12) comprising the following first to third operation sections arranged in sequence from the upstream side to the downstream side in the machine direction (MD): (1) A first operation section capable of making contact with the entire web (2) in the width direction thereof. (2) A second operation section having outlets for the adhesive agent which are formed between first segments which are intermittently arranged in an intersecting direction perpendicular to the machine direction (MD). (3) A third operation section provided with second segments which are located on the downstream side of the first segments and are intermittently arranged in the intersecting direction, and also provided with stepped sections which are provided between the second segments and have surfaces which face the surface (2a) of the web (2) and form steps having a height of at least 0.1 mm.
