A socket type sucker rod special for screw pump comprises a rod body(3) an thread hoop jacket(9) provided on the outside of the rod body. A wedge-shaped groove(1) is arranged at one end of the rod body, and an outer connection thread (2)is provided on the outside of the rod body close to the wedge-shaped groove. A wedge-shaped projection(8) is arranged at the other end of the rod body, and the outside of the rod body close to the wedge-shaped projection is movably connected with a positioning nut(6) matched with the thread hoop jacket. The structure can bear comparatively large torsion force and avoid thread off, therefore the oil recovery efficiency can be increased.
