LAMP HOUSING DEVICE AND PROJECTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for a lamp housing that blocks light and dissipates heat.

SOLUTION: The lamp housing includes an inner surface 30 accommodating a reflector 12 or being integrated therewith and absorbing radiation emitted by a lamp burner and an outer surface 34 enabling improvement of heat dissipation through a radiation or convection means. The inner surface 30 absorbs radiation and the outer surface 34 is enlarged by a plurality of formations improving heat dissipation through the radiation and convention means. Further, the housing blocks dissipation of stray visible light and thereby the need of a light leakage system is reduced or eliminated.
