PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mirror surface machining condition for a spectacle lens and a spectacle lens machining device making a stripe pattern of a lens edge surface appeared after mirror surface machining inconspicuous and capable of obtaining a mirror surface finishing surface with sufficient appearance. SOLUTION: In the mirror surface machining condition setting method for the spectacle lens for setting the condition of a rotation speed of the lens and a rotation speed of a mirror surface grinding wheel when a peripheral edge of the spectacle lens subjected to finishing machining is mirror surface-machined by the mirror surface grinding wheel, the condition of the rotation speed of the lens and the rotation speed of the mirror surface grinding wheel is set such that a gap obtained by dividing peripheral length of the whole circumference of a desired lens shape lens by the number N determined by a relationship equation of N=V1×Vw when the rotation speed at one rotation of the lens is made to V1 (sec/one rotation) and the rotation speed of the mirror surface grinding wheel is made to Vw (rotational speed/sec) becomes smaller than resolution of an eye, becomes larger than 2 mm or satisfies which state of both.
