The device (01) has a light source (07) i.e. LED, provided in a housing (06), and a mounting unit (13) mounted on a light-translucent container (03) i.e. glass show case, from an outer side to an interior light. The mounting unit is form-fittingly supported on the light-translucent container. A fixed, detachable attachment of the device is directed to the light-translucent container through the mounting unit using an adhering unit or vacuum adhesion unit. The mounting unit is provided on a light-emitting front side of the housing.
