<p>Provided is a terminal for electrical connection, wherein even when the displacement quantity of either a first contact portion or a second contact portion is increased, a reduction of the contact pressure of the other contact portion due to such increase can be effectively suppressed. A connector using the terminal is also provided. A third elastic part (24) that elastically deforms is provided between first and second elastic parts (22, 23) and a fixed part (21) such that when either the first contact portion (22a) or the second contact portion (23a) is displaced in the direction wherein the contact portion is in contact with a terminal (50) to be connected with, the displacement quantity of the other contact portion in the direction wherein the other contact portion is in contact with the terminal (50) is smaller than the displacement quantity of the terminal (50) in the inserting/removing direction thereof. Thus, even when the displacement quantity of either the first contact portion (22a) or the second contact portion (23a) is increased, the reduction of the contact pressure of the other contact portion due to such increase can be suppressed, and such suppression is extremely advantageous for the improvement of reliability of two-point contact.</p> |
