The component e.g. curb (1), has a fiber-reinforced plastic e.g. unsaturated polyester resin, and micro-encapsulated phase change material e.g. wax, with a plastic-coated lipophilic substance. The plastic-coated lipophilic substance is provided with solid and/or fluid phase change at a temperature range from 20 degree Celsius to 120 degree Celsius. The component comprises a plastic coating made of Plexiglas(RTM: Polymethylmethacrylate). The micro-encapsulated phase change material comprises a dimension of 0.5 micrometers to 30 micrometers.
