PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the characteristics of an air conditioner having a heat exchanger mounted thereon such as the reduction of electric power consumption and the reduction of noise. SOLUTION: A title air conditioner is adapted such that two opposite propeller fans are provided at an end thereof, and substantially the whole of at least suction side of both the opposite propeller fans is covered and a circular-arc shaped heat exchanger is disposed between the propeller fans, and that air is sucked from an outer peripheral side of the heat exchanger and is injected from the end thereof. Further, a plurality of propeller fans are provided, each with different blade configuration or with the different number of blades. Further, a wall is provided on an end of a body of the air conditioner, in which body the heat exchanger is accommodated, and a blow-off outlet is provided and opened through the surface of the wall excepting a back surface side and an upper surface side of the end of the body. |
