The present invention relates to an IP-based communication method for mobile stations. The underlying object is to initiate a data connection to a mobile station-capable terminal (cellular phone or radio modem) from the "outside". This is achieved by a method for integrating mobile stations (3, 3', 3'') into IP-based data networks, characterized in that a) the mobile station (3, 3', 3'') by way of authentication establishes a data mobile radio connection via an access point to the provider, b) the mobile station (3, 3', 3'') is associated with a permanent IP address from the address space of the closed user group thereof by an IP server (9, 9') based on the authentication data and the association is permanently stored, c) the data mobile radio connection is coupled to the IP-based data network based on the associated IP address via a gateway (10, 10') of the provider for the duration of the data mobile radio connection, wherein the gateway (10, 10') by means of routing rules routes a lasting bidirectional communication connection between the mobile station (3, 3', 3'') and the IP-based data network inside the address space of the closed user group thereof. |
