<p>PURPOSE: A synthetic peptide containing a specific sequence having TGF-βactivity is provided to ensure similar function or action as a natural human TGF-βand have enhnaced stability and skin permeability than the natural TGF-β. CONSTITUTION: A TGF-β(transforming growth factor-beta)-mimicking peptide contains an amino acid sequence of sequence number 1. A composition for preventing or treating TGF-β-effective diseases or conditions contains the peptide having TGF-βactivity as an active ingredient. The TGF-β-effective diseases or conditions are tissue injury, arteriosclerosis, wound, rheumatoid arthritis, uveitis, cancer, wrinkle wrinkling or skin whitening.</p> |
