PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogen-oxygen gas generator capable of being made small in size and producing as much hydrogen-oxygen gas as possible per unit of time. SOLUTION: In the hydrogen-oxygen gas generator, an electrical insulation type vibration stirring means for vibrating and stirring an electrolyte (14) in an electrolytic bath is comprised of a vibrating rod (16e) vibrating in an electrolytic cell linked with a vibration generating means and a vibrating blade (16f) attached to the vibration rod and an electrical insulation area (16e") provided in a connection part of the vibration rod to the vibration generating means. An electrical line (127) is connected to the vibration rod. A part of a plurality of vibration blades attached to two vibration rods is connected to a power source through one of the vibration rod and the electrical line to function as an anode member of an electrolytic means. Another part of the plurality of vibration blades is connected to the power source through another vibration rod and the electrical line to function as a cathode member of the electrolytic means, A gas collecting means for collecting gaseous hydrogen-oxygen generated by the electrolysis of the electrolyte by the electrolytic means is provided.
