A heating and/or cooling installation comprising: a fluid circuit (21, 22, 31, 34, 40), a pump (27) circulating fluid in the fluid circuit, a flow switch (60) connected to the fluid circuit for detecting the flow condition of the circulated fluid, and a control configured to based on the flow condition alternatively conclude on the operability of the installation and the flow switch. Further, the present invention also relates to a method for alternatively monitoring the operability of the flow switch and the installation.
